The Third Middlesex Area Democrats of Lincoln, Bedford, Carlisle, Chelmsford, Concord, Lexington, Sudbury, Waltham and Weston are holding their annual spring breakfast on Saturday, May 13 at the Hilton Garden Inn (450 Totten Pond Road, Waltham.) The public is invited to join local Democrats at this once-a-year event bringing concerned citizens, advocates, and senior elected public officials together to celebrate Democratic values, to recognize volunteers, and to discuss positions on critical state and national issues and upcoming electoral races.
The featured speakers will be U.S. Reps. Seth Moulton and Katherine Clark. Moulton has spoken recently on CNN and MSNBC on national and state events and trends. State Sen. Michael Barrett will appear and discuss important bills he has sponsored, including those related to climate change, and State Rep. Tom Stanley will also appear.
Since this is a regional event, state senators and representatives from other towns and the city of Waltham will appear. Since the 2018 gubernatorial race is already starting to heat up, potential candidates Setti Warren, Bob Massie and Jay Gonzalez will introduce themselves and discuss the policies and positions they support.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m and a buffet breakfast will be served at 9 a.m. The program adjourns at noon. Individual tickets are $40 and a 10-seat table is $350.
